  on may 20, 2010, a lawsuit was filed in san diego, california.

  defendant, the watchtower of ny, settled out-of-court for an unknown amount of money with the plaintiffs just weeks before the candace conti trial began at the end of may 2012 in oakland, california.

  the law firm representing the five plaintifs in this case was .

  The effects and repercussions of a cyber attack on WTBTS

  this is pure speculation on my part and i hope to get some others to join in sharing their thoughts on this topic.. with the recent push by "mother" to rely heavily on their site jw.org, correspondance to elder bodies, publication downloads, library access, imagine the impact an attack to their site could produce to the organization.. here we have the gb jumping on the bandwagon, late as usual, but still trying to grasp the internet, and saying that it's "okay" to use the internet, and when you do, please go to our site.

  so you have a lot of people that may have been die hard, anti-internet because it's from the devil, now saying, okay, lets get a computer, get internet service and hop online..... that's where all hell breaks loose.

  they log on the great world wide web and type in the "officially backed" website.... and bam!

  we need to unite on this one.

  all of us know names of elders and others inside the tower who are child molesters in different parts of the world..... now that we have some allied out there in cyberspace i would like us to make the most of it.... everyone who knows names and addresses to pedophiles inside the tower...now is the time to act!

  the front page of the watchtower.org site (sorry, but i won't give them a clickable link that may help their search engine rankings) has a section that says this:.

  would you like to have a personal home bible study and increase your knowledge of the bible?.

  Look at page 171 of the great teacher book they show a child all of the age of 5 fending off a rape attack from a man who looks to be in his mid40's to 50's while she is alone in her bedroom.

  Some posters such as JT and fleaman think it is an empowering statement for the child. I guess it takes all kinds.

  I myself find the picture sick. If Watchtower wants to teach a child to say no to a rape attack why not show the child in a park, a shopping mall, or some other public place, but she is fending off the attack in HER OWN BEDROOM!

  As I told the poster JT that picture was not put there because the writers of the book are stupid. There is way more to it then that. They are trying to but the blame on a child to stop the child from being molested, raped on her own and if she does not stop the attack by holding out her little girls hand then it is her fault.

  I love Billy's idea by the way I think it would be great.

  I am not hiding behind any weasel's and I totally resent that.

  I just truly wish you would not take up tons of words when this is so very important.

  OK I get it you hate the fact that this list may come out, you have made you point very, very, very, very, very, clear, over and over and over.

  But most of us especially those of us who have seen first hand the damage that has happened in the congregations know that the list includes some really dangerous people who have caused severe harm and have no doubt cased many to commit suicide as I know on the brink myself. For you to want to keep this list hiden is upsetting to all of us.

  I have seen with my own eyes elders lie bold faced to me. Why? Why lie when I could see nothing in it for them?

  Anyway I do not want to make this also into a debate. I get it very loud and clear you hate that the list might come to light. OK. OK!

  As far as Outlaw he calls things the way they come across he calls a spade a spade. I truly respect that in him.

  I was on my phone yesterday and able to track this thread but not able to post. I was thinking the exact things that Outlaw and Flipper and Ceader"s said to you. I am sure I was not alone in just tracking the thread and not posting. Many wonder why you are so worked up over this and why you are so bent in throwing out strawmen.

  Introducing Mrs Cedars...

  i just thought you should know that mrs cedars has finally taken the plunge and joined the forum.

  she was able to log on for the first time yesterday.. though we both "awakened" at different stages, mrs cedars was very supportive and non-judgmental when i first began exploring my beliefs from a critical standpoint.

  she is currently in the process of reading crisis of conscience and aquainting herself with some of the facts of witness history that were hitherto unknown.
